I yelled and managed to stop her before she took off the corner of his roof - only a few inches to spare. She said she's never been so happy in her life to be yelled at. LOL<br /><br />As for awnings, more trouble than they're worth. Get a Clam screen tent - easy to put up, keeps out the bugs, and also gives you shade. They're really nice. Good idea to measure the complete height or your RV and place a sticker on your dash. Both in feet and inches and metres (in case you go to Canada or Mexico. I suspect it was just for the reason you found out :).<br /><br />Oh well, it was just a matter of time and it luckily did not turn into a too expensive lesson. Me, I took off two $10,000 roofs. Thank goodness for insurance. You might want to consider an insurance claim, awnings can run up to $1,000 after installation.<br /><br />It's all downhill now.
