Plodding along

It seems like I'm not making much progress.  I do remember that I get this way every summer.  No energy, no enthusiasm.  I did not win my riches in Las Vegas, so I'm still working.  :)  Things there are still in a holding pattern as well.  My eyes are now on September.  It doesn't start cooling off here yet at that point, but I'm starting the process of looking for flights back to MO to visit, and it hopefully will be cooler back there by then.

The cats are healthy and I guess happy.  Most of the time they are fun.  Way too much of the time they are destroying stuff or accidentally(?) hurting me with their claws or teeth.  Just playing.  I'm learning to trim claws.  Mostly Rasta, the younger one, is just too energetic and curious for my lifestyle.  He also is the most affectionate one, which is what saves him.  So far.

I now have insurance on the mobile home.  The taxes are paid up.  I'm totally legal.  For now.  For most of the other stuff, it's one step forward 3 steps back.

  1. You think you are plodding along but I see that you have accomplished quite a bit.

You moved back to the States, you took a job in Arizona, bought a home and moved all your worldly belongings to one place.

You adopted your kitties, you got all your things in place, had friends and your mother down for a visit. I am sure I have left out some things.

Girl, you have accomplished a lot...you deserve a rest!

  2. An update to my Comment of 6/28/14.

Phoenix, AZ (PRWEB) April 22, 2014
The Arizona Senate and House of Representatives last week both passed SB 1201, removing the motorcycle license requirement for enclosed, three-wheeled vehicles, also known as autocycles. The bill now moves to the Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer for approval.

Brewer previously vetoed this bill on April 13, 2014 when it included an amendment that makes definitions and regulations for commercial multiple-person, pedaled, motor-assisted quadricycles (known as a “party bus” where the riders drink and pedal around).

Hopefully, that amendment has been stripped out and Brewer has/will sign it.
