Now for something completely different...

I'm not in Chicago anymore. I just couldn't handle the job, the situation, anything about what was going on. My boss and I parted on good terms, I think. I have never walked off a job with no notice and no job to go to. Then again, I've never been in a similar situation as I found myself in there.

Today I accepted a job in Phoenix. If the background check comes back clean, and it should, I will head to AZ in a few weeks. If nothing else, my life is now not boring.

  1. Like a tumbling stone it moves down the creek until it finds just the right fit. You will too! Enjoy the journey.

  2. I may get to Phoenix soon. If so I will let you know and maybe we can meet. We have stayed in an RV park just north east of Fountain View.

  3. I'm looking at Craigslist and google maps for rv parks, rv's, and short term rentals in Phoenix. I am slated to start work April 22, not sure when I'll start the trek south. I would absolutely love to meet up with you.

  4. Sometimes the wisest thing to do is to walk away. I've had a job or two that's what I should have done, but wasn't bright enough to do it. I hope Phoenix turns out better for you.

  5. I am surprised at your news but at the same time happy that you decided early enough into this job that it was just not the right one for you.

It is your life and only you know what is best for you and more importantly what is not.

Best of luck in this new chapter of your life.
