Woo Hoo!!!
I have mic now!!! I turned on the computer and the 'annoying' popup that I cancelled out of yesterday popped up. I dutifully did what it asked, and my mic now works. I CAN SKYPE!!! Of course, no one is on to Skype with this early...
For computer to computer Skype is free. I can use it to call a telephone, too, but that is what costs. I may do that for places I can't email or contact via computer. So far, Skype hasn't cost any of us a thing.
Whoopie on the skype thing,, Now you could use your mike for some of the free online one on one chat programs.
