Works In Progress

The push to finish the socks was because I want to contribute to our Elks Lodge project to do ate preemie caps to a hospital in Tuscon. Here are my first 2. I'm making up the pattern as I go. This has a side benefit of using up the partial skeins of yarn left from a few baby blankets I've made over the years. Plus, it's fun.

  1. There are so cute love the colors. I also just donated a couple of new born caps, like you trying to use up small left over yarn.

  2. Hi
You have the wrong date you put 2017 instead of 2018. We already have been to that one but looking forward to 2018. Have a nice day Kathy Rousseau

    1. EEK! Where did I use 2017? Yeah, always double check any direction I give, I mix up left and right and East/West, North/South. And, now apparently, years...

  3. I can't thank you enough for making hats for preemies. Five years ago my grandson was in a neonatal unit and he had a tiny red hat on, it meant so much to see him being kept warm. All the preemies were in hats and some were so very tiny, I know having their babies be in a hat some kind person made meant so much to all the parents. The babies couldn't wear cute outfits but those hats just made them be like every other baby-thank you!
