I need to go to the Credit Union and get a money order and pay my rent that is 'past due' after the 1st. No grace period. I'm amazed at apartment complexes being so heavy handed as a lot of folks get paid on the first, but whatever. It was much the same in WA. One reason I hate living in apartment complexes. Then I want to stop by CostCo to see about some lentil dinners that I saw referenced in a thread somewhere on taking in lunches to work. If I end up going out for Panda Express later this evening anyway, so be it. Since I need to be at work at noon, I'll leave here around 10, an hour from now.
And so, off to start a new chapter, yet again.
Good luck on the new job.
ReplyDeleteYou just need to get back to work and you'll be as right as rain! Good luck.
ReplyDeleteYou have alot of us folks pulling for you, Ms Shadowmoss.

Good luck. It's hard to start a new life, but you will do OK.
ReplyDeleteI know where you're coming from. Been there many times, but things have always gotten better. Hang in there.
ReplyDeleteThe first few days, heck the first few weeks at a new job are always stressful.
ReplyDeleteI have great confidence in you...look how far you have come in such a short time.
Not too many people have your strength and tenacity. Remember you just arrived from a third world country then went to Chicago and found early enough it was not a good fit for you.
Then to turn around and practically go to the other side of the country where you have never been before and with limited personal belongings...I say you have a lot to be proud of.
Chin up...you have a lot of cyber friends rooting for you :)
